Absolutely excellent and no hesitation in recommending Treefix to commercial and domestic customers. We have a specialist rural wedding venue with over an acre of gardens which have to look perfect. After the severe frosts and snow last winter, we had 4 dead trees that needed cutting down including a huge eucalyptus, plus other specimen trees that needed pruning. The works were carried out extremely professionally and on time – even in quite gusty winds! John and his team are extremely polite and efficient; they work in a methodical and tidy fashion. Communication was good – invoice as per quotation – no hidden extras. As requested, they have left us with a good pile of logs for the woodburner and chippings for bedding mulch, so very happy with the results – first class!

Nothing other than a terrible experience. James was hired to do a full garden clearance with ‘soft landscaping’, but it’s safe to say he is completely unable to do the latter. Left the garden a half done hazardous mess after he asked for another upfront payment which was refused as he’d already been paid half the total quote for ‘materials’ before work commenced but hadn’t actually been used for that purpose. Fitted a sleeper that clearly wasn’t put in correctly as it’s now an accident waiting to happen, it’s loose and moving around. It needs to be taken out and completely re-done. Not punctual, messy, didn’t turn up to the job for over a week after it had been started, dumped some of our garden waste over a council owned fence at the back of our property, left heavy garden waste bags on our soil that ruined our grass, bought the wrong materials on purpose as he said he couldn’t afford the correct ones but never discussed this with us prior, very unprofessional (shout and swore at me down the phone), and clearly has a lot to learn. Perhaps if you just want your lawn mowing or edges sharpening then it would be OK, but anything more than that I unfortunately would not recommend.

We’ve been using JAB Garden Services for a few years now. We always get James out to do the initial tidy of our (very overgrown) garden after winter. He takes away all the garden waste which is ideal because I think it would take 2 months or more to get rid of it all using the green bins ourselves! More recently he has painted our fences and removed approx 2 tonne of pebbles and replaced with mulch. As always, he has done a fantastic job, is reasonably priced, hard working and very polite. Highly recommended.
