Born in Johannesburg in South Africa, I now live in Challock, Kent. I completed 23 years military service with the UK Armed Forces and served all over the world so I am now enjoying the peace & tranquillity of life in Kent with my partner Hannah. I have been Chainsaw Carving as a hobby since 2010 and full time since November 2012. I am based at Chegworth Court near Harrietsham and have a fully kitted out workshop where I make a variety of products including traditional chainsaw carvings, hand engraved signs, bowls & platters and benches & garden tables. I also do carvings in situ and attend shows throughout the summer months. All my timber is locally sourced from tree surgeons and storm damage trees. I do not fell healthy trees for any of my products.
