Brightman Brothers Tree Care was born from the original tree surgery company started by my late brother Michael Brightman in the 70’s, following the onset of the devastating Dutch Elm disease which changed the character of Britain’s landscape. During my time as an arborist I have realised that I get so much more satisfaction from shaping and refurbishing trees or hedges than removing them. Although some are beyond help and a clean slate is what is required, I find that many plants just need a sensitive touch to bring them back to their former glory. I pride myself on my tree reductions, crown shaping skills and trimming. This is why I chose to branch out on my own and concentrate on the particular needs of each tree and garden. I have been working in the arboricultural/ horticultural industry since 2009, starting as a ground worker dragging branches, becoming a climber in 2011. It is very important to me that my clients are happy with my work.
