Ben Lightfoot of Lightfoot Tree Service began his career at Sparsholt College gaining a National Certificate in Arboriculture in 2002. Once qualified he started out his employment at one of the largest Arboriculture companies in the UK, working primarily on council contract work. Since then he has gained experience in the domestic sector, carrying out freelance climbing for several local companies. Heading back to college to gain further education in the form of the Arboricultural Association’s Technician Certificate at Merrist Wood College and then leading on to The Professional Tree Inspection Course. These two qualifications were required to work for a tree consultancy company carrying out tree surveys which has been useful in the crossover of day to day tree work.
